Vegetables like cucumber and water melon that have a lot of fluids are good in flushing out the sodium and preventing your belly from bloating.

Avoid all carbonated drinks which produce gas that makes your belly bloat.

Reduce your salt intake, since salt tends to retain water in the system.

Avoid tubers and fried foods that cause gas formation. Stop chewing gums, in case you do it regularly.
