How to detect and prevent Coronary Heart Diseases?

Fatty deposits in the arteries leading to the heart cause a blockage of blood to the heart, leading to coronary heart diseases. Symptoms include a piercing pain radiating to the left arm, jaw or back of neck. Shortness of breath is also a symptom. The ways to prevent are controlling blood pressure and diabetes; lowering frequency of smoking, cutting cholesterol causing foods and exercising every day. Weight reduction certainly helps, so does a healthy balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, less salt and sugar; and 8 to 10 glasses of water each day. Managing stress plays a key role in preventing heart diseases.
