Are your eyes watery? Time to stop that.

Watery eyes can be caused by a variety of factors. Excessive tearing can result in watery eyes. Allergies can cause this excessive tearing. You must find out the allergen causing it and avoid it – dust or pollen grains are common allergens. Dry eyes too may cause tearing of the eyes. An infection resulting in reddishness of the eyes or a block in the tear sac or near the nose could cause watery eyes. Inward growing eyelashes or eye lids can cause tearing too. While over the counter antihistamines provide relief, it’s best to consult an ophthalmologist.
