If you are lonely or have few friends when you face any difficulties in your life you must rely on your own motivation to get you through. Set yourself boundaries If you find that the work you are doing is taking too long to complete then you are either not doing it right or you are in fact doing too much. So look at how you can cut back on the amount of time you spend on each project or piece of work and ways in which it can be simplified or any training that you may need.

Persevere and be patient. Even the most self motivated people sometimes lose their enthusiasm and fall behind. Be patient with yourself when you have a setback. Take a break and then return to the task.

Provide a way for relief: if your employees work for 8 hours, and if you know that it only takes 6 hours to finish their work, what’s the point in disabling chatting programs, web browsing or any other method that provides a relief? By enabling such things (without announcing that they are enabled) the employee will be happy and he may think that he fooling you by using them and on the other side you will be knowing but acting as if you are not noticing it, these stuff provide a relief from hard work and so may prevent loss of motivation due to stress or frustration.

It also helps to observe yourself and your activities daily and regularly. What are some of the things that you enjoy doing everyday? What are some of the things you want to do again and again because you like it? For example, you may like talking to a particular friend. If so, whenever you need some motivation, try to talk to that friend about it. This will boost your motivation levels. Identify such activities through observation and keep them in mind whenever you need to motivate yourself.

Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.
