5 Easy Tips to Help You Quit Smoking Forever

Choose an occasion to quit – your birthday, new year or your child’s birthday. Write down a list of positives about quitting smoking. List the consequences of continued smoking. Seek family and friends’ help to overcome the habit. Prepare for the craving that’s bound to occur after quitting. Take a walk, do breathing exercises or chat up a friend when the craving pops up. Avoid the company of smokers for some weeks. Think of your child and wife for whose sake you quit. Identify when the longing for a smoke arises; try to substitute it with another activity. Exercise every day. Visualize a better life without damage to your lungs and heart.
