Romantic Poem by Edmund Spenser

One day I wrote her name upon the strand

One day I wrote her name upon the strand,

But came the waves and washed it away:

Again I wrote it with a second hand,

But came the tide, and made my pains his prey.

Vain man, said she, that dost in vain assay

A mortal thing so to immortalize!

For I myself shall like to this decay,

And eek my name be wiped out likewise.

Not so (quoth I), let baser things devise

To die in dust, but you shall live by fame:

My verse your virtues rare shall eternize,

And in the heavens write your glorious name;

Where, whenas death shall all the world subdue,

Our love shall live, and later life renew.

Edmund Spenser, poet

Zig Ziglar's Motivating Quotes

Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.

When you respond to life, that's positive; when you react to life, that's negative.

This I do know beyond any reasonable doubt. Regardless of what you are doing, if you pump long enough, hard enough and enthusiastically enough, sooner or later the effort will bring forth the reward.

Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.

It's not what you've got, it's what you use that makes a difference.

You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.

Zig Ziglar in Secrets of Closing the Sale

If you don't see yourself as a winner, then you cannot perform as a winner.

You don't pay the price for success. You enjoy the price for success.

Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.

Success is the maximum utilization of the ability that you have.

Tiger Woods Quotes

I want to be what I've always wanted to be: dominant.

You can always become better.

No matter how good you get you can always get better and that's the exciting part.

From early childhood I dreamed of being the world’s best golfer. I worked hard and applied my family’s values to everything I did. Integrity, honesty, discipline, responsibility and fun; I learned these values at home and in school, each one pushing me further toward my dream.

I think it's an honor to be a role model to one person or maybe more than that. If you are given a chance to be a role model, I think you should always take it because you can influence a person's life in a positive light, and that's what I want to do. That's what it's all about.

I get to play golf for a living. What more can you ask for - getting paid for doing what you love.

You've got to stay patient, stay in the moment, keep grinding, ... You never know what can happen. And it turned out well.

One of the things that my parents have taught me is never listen to other people's expectations. You should live your own life and live up to your own expectations, and those are the only things I really care about it.

Sad Love Poem

Where My Books Go

All the words that I utter,

And all the words that I write,

Must spread out their wings untiring,

And never rest in their flight,

Till they come where your sad, sad heart is,

And sing to you in the night,

Beyond where the waters are moving,

Storm-darken'd or starry bright.

William Butler Yeats

Stephen Covey Inspiring Words

You give a man a fish, you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Human beings are not things needing to be motivated and controlled; they are four dimensional—body, mind, heart, and spirit.

The moment of making choice is the moment of truth!

Spiritual View of Life
First of all, you are dealing with the whole person. That includes the
person’s spirit or soul. You cannot separate their body or their mind or their heart from their spirit, because they are all so inter-related, and there is a synergistic relationship between all these four dimensions of our nature. Any attempt to compartmentalise will reduce that synergistic effect and it will have negative repercussions on your body, your mind, your heart, your emotions, your thinking
and so forth.

Another dimension would be that you are dealing with those principles that are universal and timeless.

Thirdly, spirituality deals with peace of conscience. Obeying or following your conscience, means that you are true to that which you have internalised as being right and this gives you tremendous tranquillity and courage.

Voice is unique personal significance—significance that is revealed as we face our greatest challenges and that makes us equal to them.
Dr. Stephen R. Covey, 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness

Often we are so busy with sawing that we forget to shapen the saw.

If you want to make minor, incremental changes and improvements, work on practices, behavior or attitude. But if you want to make significant, quantum improvement, work on paradigms.

The more we use and magnify our present talents, the more talents we are given and the greater our capacity becomes.

Vision comes as people sense human need and respond to their conscience in trying to meet that need.

Instead of taking two watches, take compass. It is not important how fast you are moving, but where you are moving.

Wise Words from Deepak Chopra

Motivational words from deepak Chopra.
I think that is a very important component, to have passion, to have a dream, to have a purpose in life. And there are three components to that purpose, one is to find out who you really are, to discover God, the second is to serve other human beings, because we are here to do that and the third is to express your unique talents and when you are expressing your unique talents you lose track of time.

The highest level of abundance is when you don't have to think or worry about it. You can have a billion dollars in the bank and if you're constantly worried about what's happening to the stock market, you are a poor soul.

If you're really going to pursue a spiritual way of living in the world, you must be lighthearted and carefree, have humor, be able to tolerate ambiguity and embrace uncertainty, and be forgiving of yourself and everybody else.

Learn to observe without judgment, get in touch with your feelings, identify the unmet needs that those feelings are expressing, and then learn to help each other with those unmet needs.

Pay attention to your self outside the realm of your experiences and you’ll discover that there is a light there, there is a love there. Love of one, love of all, merge into love, pure and simple. It radiates from you like light from the sun. This love is not sentiment, but the truth at the heart of all creation. It can solve not only our own problems, but the problems of humanity.

Well most people think that aging is fatal and scientific data shows that that's not true. People don't die of old age, they die of diseases that accompany old age, and they are preventable.

Most people think that aging is irreversible and we know that there are mechanisms even in the
human machinery that allow for the reversal of aging, through correction of diet, through anti-oxidants, through removal of toxins from the body, through exercise, through yoga and breathing techniques, and through meditation. Most people believe that aging is normal but nobody defines what normal aging is. What we call normal may be the psychopathology of the average. Most people think that aging is genetic and yet if your parents lived to age 80+ that will add three years to your life.

The way you think, the way you behave, the way you eat, can influence your life by 30 to 50 years. Most people believe that aging is universal but there are biological organisms that never age. Most people believe that aging is painful and we know that pain is from diseases that are preventable, not from aging.

People have to change their concepts of aging and I am not asking them to do so based on some
fanciful notion but on scientific fact. When they change that, then their perception of aging will change and it will become clear to them to grow old and to become wiser, to become more creative, to become the springboard for creativity and affluence. Once your perception of the whole phenonenom changes, your reality will change because reality is nothing other than your perception of it.

Recipe Poem for a Happy Marriage

    A Good Wedding Cake.

    1lb butter of youth.

    4lbs of love.

    1lb of good looks,

    1lb of sweet temper.

    3lb of self forgetfulness.

    1lb of pounded wit.

    1lb of blindness of faults.

    1lb of good humour.

    1 tablespoon of sweet argument.

    1 pint of rippling laughter.

1 wine glass of common sense.

    1oz of modesty.

    Poet Unknown

Motivational Quotes from Norman Vincent Peale

Nothing of great value in this life comes easily. The things of highest value sometimes come hard. The gold that has the greatest value lies deepest in the earth, as do the diamonds.

Change your thoughts and you change your world.

When every physical and mental resource is focused, one's power to solve a problem
    multiplies tremendously.

Become a possibilitarian. No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities - always see them, for they're always there.

Problems are to the mind what exercise is to the muscles, they toughen and make strong.

Those who are fired with an enthusiastic idea and who allow it to take hold and dominate their thoughts find that new worlds open for them. As long as enthusiasm holds out, so will new opportunities.

Plan your work for today and everyday, then work your plan.

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

    Jack Canfield Motivational Success Principles

I just basically say the law of attraction says like attracts like. So, if you want to be successful you need to come from a place of vibrating that you're successful. You need to be thinking about the successes you already have.

If you want to attract more money you need to be thinking abundantly, so even though you might only be making $40,000 a year you want to be focusing on your gratitude for that coming from a state of abundance.

And then what happens is you'll attract more abundance to you. If you're talking all the time about what you don't want or how bad it is, then what you're going to attract is more how bad it is.
Jack Canfield on CNN LARRY KING LIVE.

It’s been said that success in life is a lot like a connect-the-dots game. So many people have gone before us — leaving maps and guidebooks about how to replicate their success — that all we have to do is connect the dots.

The problem is that most people focus on their failures rather than their successes. But the truth is that most people have many more successes than failures, if only they count all the small daily successes we all achieve ? driving to work without an accident, getting the kids to and from school, making dinner for the family.

If you have a vision and a life purpose, and you believe in it, then you do not let external events tell you what is so. You follow your internal guidance and follow your bliss, as Joseph Campbell used to say.

The same principles work; you're clear about your purpose, if you set goals, if you have a clear vision, if you visualize your goals complete, if you take action, if you respond to feedback, if you persevere in the face of obstacles, if you build relationships, if you are appreciative, you know we could go down the list.

Well most people are walking around - they don't even have goals! Ten percent of Americans have goals written down for the year. I mean, 90% don't, and the 90% are working for the ten percent who do.

    Dale Carnegie Motivational Quotes

Are you bored with life? Then throw yourself into some work you believe in with all your heart, live for it, die for it, and you will find happiness that you had thought could never be yours.

If we always do what we have always done, we will always get what we have always got.

Feeling sorry for yourself, and your present condition, is not only a waste of energy but the worst habit you could possibly have.

Did you ever see an unhappy horse? Did you ever see bird that had the blues? One reason why birds and horses are not unhappy is because they are not trying to impress other birds and horses.

Take a chance! All life is a chance. The man who goes furthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare.

Do the thing you fear to do and keep on doing it... that is the quickest and surest way ever yet discovered to conquer fear.

Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get.

You learn how to make people like you, win people over to your way of thinking, and change people without causing offence or arousing resentment.

If you can't sleep, then get up and do something instead of lying there and worrying. It's the worry that gets you, not the loss of sleep.

    Signs of Love Poetry

    Symptoms of Love

    Love is a universal migraine,

A bright stain on the vision

    Blotting out reason.

    Symptoms of true love

    Are leanness, jealousy,

    Laggard dawns;

    Are omens and nightmares-

    Listening for a knock,

    Waiting for a sign:

For a touch of her fingers

    In a darkened room,

    For a searching look.

    Take courage, lover!

    Could you endure such grief

    At any hands but hers?

    Robert Graves

    Leo Buscaglia's Motivational Words

It is when we ask for love less and begin giving it more that the basis of human love is revealed to us.
    Born For Love, 1994

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

We take love for granted. We assume we are all perfect lovers and all we need do is wait and our love will grow and blossom as readily as a flower in spring. Not so. Love doesn't grow unless we do. It takes patience, knowledge, experience, determination, and every positive trait we possess. In addition, love is always changing and unless we stay aware and change with it, it eludes us.

A wonderful realization will be the day you realize that you are unique in all the world.

There is nothing that is an accident. You are a special combination for a purpose— and don't let them tell you otherwise, even if they tell you that 'purpose is an illusion.' (Live an illusion if you have to). You are that combination so that you can do what is essential for you to do. Don't ever believe that you have nothing to contribute. The world is an incredible unfulfilled tapestry. And only you can fulfill that tiny space that is yours.

Time has no meaning in itself unless we choose to give it significance.

Death teaches us the joy of the moment. It teaches us we don't have forever. If teaches us that nothing is permanent, It teaches us to let go, there's nothing you can hang on to. And it tells us to give up on expectations and let tomorrow tell its own story, because nobody knows if they'll get home tonight. To me that's a tremendous challenge. Death says, "Live now".

    Wayne Dyer's Self Development Advice

What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds.

    Follow your Purpose
When you are inspired by a great purpose, everything will begin to work for you. Inspiration comes from moving back in-spirit and connecting to the seven faces of intention. When you feel inspired, what appeared to be risky becomes a path you feel compelled to follow. The risks are gone because you are following your bliss, which is the truth within you.

We must make a conscious choice to say no to anything that takes us away from an inspired life...We can start by turning down requests that involve actions that don't correspond with our inner knowing about why we're here.

When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way.

    What is intention?
It's the difference between motivation and inspiration. Motivation is when you get hold of an idea and don't let go of it until you make it a reality. Inspiration is the reverse—when an idea gets hold of you and you feel compelled to let that impulse or energy carry you along. You get to a point where you realize that you're no longer in charge, that there's a driving force inside you that can't be stopped. Look at the great athletes, musician, artists, and writers. They all tap into a source.

Become conscious of the energy levels of your acquaintances, friends and extended family. Choose to be in close proximity to those who are empowering, who see the greatness in you,who feel connected to spirit.

    Romantic poetry for Love

If ever two were one, then surely we.

    If ever man were lov'd by wife, then thee;

If ever wife was happy in a man,

Compare with me ye women you can

I prize thy love more than whole mines og Gold.

Or all the riches that the East doth hold.

My love is such that rivers cannot quench,

Nor ought but love from thee, give recompense.

Thy love is such I can no way repay,

The heavens reward thee manifold repay,

Then while we live, in love let's so persevere

That when we live no more, we may live ever.

    Poem to Shy Lover

A Poem To My Shy Lover

Than of my sweet Love’s gentle gaze,

Could my own eyes behold a fairer sight

    as she doth waken to my touch with languid smile;

Her longing limbs reach out from moonlit haze

and through the shrouded secrecy of night.

What thinkest thee, that scarlet-ornamented lips are still,

And worries hide their tempest there behind thy furrowed brow?

Dwell not upon some long-past right or wrong,

Or silent memories carried on a song,

but only that which promises all mortal satisfaction, here and now.

Fear not, my dear, that sunlight seeks to steal our precious time,

and so dispels the moon from peaceful reverie above.

Our passion, hidden by the night, will not be quieted by dawn

When shadows fade and daybreak threatens

    to betray forbidden love.

If my desire and all too roguish longing thee think sinful,

then, by rights, I beg no mercy for my fate,

but offer up my heart, and pray that yours will find compassion

that our love, so cloaked in darkness, must be slave to fleeting moments,

and show pity for my wantonness and woebegotten state.

Deny me not, my wistful, winsome lover,

that which rids my soul of all its doubt and loathsome fear.

‘Tis but your warming touch that gives my heart its cause to beat

and holds the torch that lights my restless spirit’s flame

    when thou art near.

But if it please thee to admit no all-consuming need of me

and cast no furtive glance my way when morning skies are bright,

Then I shall relegate my roguish wants and constant longing

to the wisdom of the darkness

and the shelter of the night.

    Scott Peck's Wisdom on Life

Life is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to be lived.

Real love is a permanently self-enlarging experience.

Two people love each other only when they are quite capable of living without each other but choose to live with each other.

Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths. It is a great truth because once we truly see this truth, we transcend it. Once we truly know that life is difficult - once we truly understand and accept it - then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters.

Love is as love does. Love is an act of will--namely, both an intention and an action. Will also implies choice. We do not have to love. We choose to love.
Everything that happens in life is there to aid our spiritual growth.
The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.

If you expect another person to make you happy, you’ll be endlessly disappointed.

An essential part of true listening is the discipline of bracketing, the temporary giving up or setting aside of one's own prejudices, frames of reference and desires so as to experience as far as possible the speaker's world from the inside, step in inside his or her shoes. This unification of speaker and listener is actually and extension and enlargement of ourselves, and new knowledge is always gained from this. Moreover, since true listening involves bracketing, a setting aside of the self, it also temporarily involves a total acceptance of the other. Sensing this acceptance, the speaker will fell less and less vulnerable and more and more inclined to open up the inner recesses of his or her mind to the listener. As this happens, speaker and listener begin to appreciate each other more and more, and the duet dance of love is begun again.

    Tender Love Poem

    A Sonnet of the Moon

LOOK how the pale queen of the silent night

Doth cause the ocean to attend upon her,

And he, as long as she is in his sight,

With her full tide is ready her to honor.

But when the silver waggon of the moon

Is mounted up so high he cannot follow,

The sea calls home his crystal waves to moan,

And with low ebb doth manifest his sorrow.

So you that are the sovereign of my heart

    Have all my joys attending on your will;

My joys low-ebbing when you do depart,

When you return their tide my heart doth fill.

So as you come and as you do depart,

Joys ebb and flow within my tender heart.

    Lovely Friendship Poem

A friend is someone we turn to

when our spirits need a lift.

A friend is someone we treasure

for our friendship is a gift.

A friend is someone who fills our lives

    with beauty, joy, and grace.

And makes the whole world we live in

    a better and happier place.

    Jean Kyler McManus

    Love for Him Verse

I stood where Love in brimming armfuls bore

Slight wanton flowers and foolish toys of fruit:

And round him ladies thronged in warm pursuit,

Fingered and lipped and proffered the strange store.

And from one hand the petal and the core

Savoured of sleep; and cluster and curled shoot

Seemed from another hand like shame's salute,

Gifts that I felt my cheek was blushing for.

At last Love bade my Lady give the same:

    And as I looked, the dew was light thereon;

And as I took them, at her touch they shone

With inmost heaven-hue of the heart of flame.

And then Love said: "Lo! when the hand is hers,

Follies of love are love's true ministers.

    Dante Gabriel Rosetti

    Wally Amos Words of Wisdom

Everything is possible, you've just got to find a way to make it work.

Life is just a mirror, and what you see out there, you must first see inside of you.

It doesn't matter how many say it cannot be done or how many people have tried it before; it's important to realize that whatever you're doing, it's your first attempt at it.

It's so important to believe in yourself. Believe that you can do it, under any circumstances. Because if you believe you can, then you really will. That belief just keeps you searching for the answers, and then pretty soon you get it.

Regardless of any unpleasantness in my life, I still get up every morning and look for positive things to do, ... Who's In Charge.

There is no question that giving is receiving, and nowhere is that clearer than when sharing something you have created yourself.
Wally Amos, The Cookie Never Crumbles

Faith is the bird that is singing in the dark trusting that the light will come.

The thing is not to leave unfinished business; make every day count.

A close friend, a great book and a delicious chocolate chip cookie always bring you pleasure.

Preach with your life, not with your mouth.

    Edward de Bono's Inspiring Words
You may want to take an initiative because nothing else is happening. You may want to take an initiative because you are bored with what you are doing. You may want to take an initiative because there is some attraction that beckons you forward. Sometimes you may have a very precise sense of where you are going and the initiative becomes a detailed plan. At other times you take the initiative and then see what happens. You then think again in order to go forward.

One very important aspect of motivation is the willingness to stop and to look at things that no one else has bothered to look at. This simple process of focusing on things that are normally taken for granted is a powerful source of creativity.

Perception is by far the most important part of thinking. Most errors of thinking are errors of perception. If perception is faulty then no amount of logical excellence will give a useful answer.

Humor is by far the most significant activity of the human brain.

We can challenge assumptions. We can challenge the boundaries within which we think we have to work. We can challenge the ideas that dominate our thinking. We can challenge the values we use. We can challenge concepts. We can challenge the polarizations we make. We can challenge the things we normally seek and the things we normally avoid.

Challenge means: 'Let's stop and think about this. Does it have to be done this way?
    Teach Yourself to Think

Cleverness is like a lens with a very sharp focus. Wisdom is more like a wide-angle lens.

Opportunity ideas do not lie around waiting to be discovered. Such ideas need to be produced.

    Finding True Love

    Sun Rise

    The grey began to fade,

As the colours filled the sky,

    The chill began to warm,

As the sun began to rise.

    A lost girl found direction,

As the eastern orb rose high,

The dark sky turned to blue,

Like the colour of his eyes.

    Dark turned to light,

    Grey turned to blue,

    Lost became found,

    That's when I met you.

    Keri Jolly

    Romantic verse from Phillipines

Calm the winds as angels sing

    lovers' tune and flowers bring

    little buds caressed by dew

    sending pretty thoughts of you.

    Hearts entwined with heav'nly bliss

    spell the most romantic kiss

    yearning for the sweetest place

    nowhere less in your embrace.

    Ringing bells of autumn air

whispers of my love and care

set the mood, begin the dance

    paint the colours of romance.

    Inside out, your beauty shows

    inside me, this feeling grows

'tis your hair, your voice, your smiles,

    'tis your most angelic eyes.

    Sparkling stars will soon reveal

    shifting breeze that ever will

    hold the sentimental light

let the love consume the night.

    Nevermore will dreams expire

keep it burning, guard the fire

hold you hand and don't let go

feel my heart so you would know.

    Amber-hued the sunset sails

    leaving dust of loving trails

chanting words that say I do

princess, I'm in love with you..

    Care for the small things

Friends always remember a nice gesture, a kind word or gentle remark more than anything else. The first call on her birthday, the shoulder lent on the day he failed to crack a big interview, a joke that soothed a friend’s tense nerves, coming to his rescue during a heated argument with colleagues, or a compliment on her dress sense, are all unforgettable moments.

Have a good word for all, anytime, anywhere. They could soothe a tensed nerve, put a smile back in place or restore confidence in someone. Don’t forget birthdays, go back on promises or fail to keep an appointment. Erase bad memories of friendship.

BE HAPPY for this moment THIS MOMENT IS YOUR LIFE.

The thoughtful soul to solitude retires.

    Lost Love Verse

    My Pretty Rose Tree

A flower was offered to me:

Such a flower as May never bore.

    But I said "I've a Pretty Rose-tree",

And I passed the sweet flower o'er.

Then I went to my Pretty Rose-tree:

To tend her by day and by.

But my Rose turn'd away with jealousy:

And her thorns were my only delight.

    Sweet Friendship Verse

    Human Family

    I note the obvious differences

    in the human family.

    Some of us are serious,

    some thrive on comedy.

Some declare their lives are lived

    as true profundity,

and others claim they really live

    the real reality.

The variety of our skin tones

    can confuse, bemuse, delight,

brown and pink and beige and purple,

    tan and blue and white.

I've sailed upon the seven seas

    and stopped in every land.

I've seen the wonders of the world,

    not yet one common man.

    I know ten thousand women

    called Jane and Mary Jane,

but I've not seen any two

    who really were the same.

    Mirror twins are different

    although their features jibe,

and lovers think quite different thoughts

    while lying side by side.

We love and lose in China,

    we weep on England's moors,

and laugh and moan in Guinea,

    and thrive on Spanish shores.

    We seek success in Finland,

are born and die in Maine.

    In minor ways we differ,

    in major we're the same.

    I note the obvious differences

    between each sort and type,

but we are more alike, my friends,

    than we are unalike.

We are more alike, my friends,

    than we are unalike.

We are more alike, my friends,

    than we are unalike.

Glamour, that trans-human aura or power to attract imitation, is a kind of vessel into which dreams are poured, and some vessels are simply worthier than others... A beautiful woman can turn heads but real glamour has a deeper pull... Glamour [is] the power to rearrange people's emotions, which, in effect, is the power to control one's environment.

The witch-hunt was a perverse manifestation of the panic which set in among all classes when the balance began to turn toward greater individual freedom. Romantic Sorrow Lines

    The Ghost

    PEACE in thy hands,

    Peace in thine eyes,

    Peace on thy brow;

Flower of a moment in the eternal hour,

    Peace with me now.

    Not a wave breaks,

    Not a bird calls,

    My heart, like a sea,

Silent after a storm that hath died,

    Sleeps within me.

    All the night's dews,

    All the world's leaves,

    All winter's snow

Seem with their quiet to have stilled in life's dream

    All sorrowing now.

    Lost Love Poetry

You've Got To Hide Your Love Away

Here I stand head in hand

Turn my face to the wall

    If she's gone I can't go on

    Feelin' two-foot small

    Everywhere people stare

    Each and every day

I can see them laugh at me

    And I hear them say

Hey you've got to hide your love away

Hey you've got to hide your love away

    How could I even try

    I can never win

    Hearing them, seeing them

    In the state I'm in

How could she say to me

    Love will find a way

    Gather round all you clowns

    Let me hear you say

Hey you've got to hide your love away

Hey you've got to hide your love away

    I Will Love You Forever

    I love you so deeply,

    I love you so much,

I love the sound of your voice

And the way that we touch.

    I love your warm smile

    And your kind, thoughtful way,

    The joy that you bring

    To my life every day.

    I love you today

As I have from the start,

    And I'll love you forever

    With all of my heart.

    Amanda Nicole Martinez

    I Want Her Love Poem

    If I were her lover,

    I'd wade through the clover

    Over the fields before

    The gate that leads to her door;

    Over the meadows,

    To wait, 'mid the shadows,

The shadows that circle her door,

For the heart of my heart and more.

    And there in the clover

    Close by her,

    Over and over

    I'd sigh her:

    "Your eyes are as brown

    As the Night's, looking down

    On waters that sleep

With the moon in their deep" . . .

If I were her lover to sigh her.

    If I were her lover,

    I'd wade through the clover

    Over the fields before

    The lane that leads to her door;

    I'd wait, 'mid the thickets,

    Or there by the pickets,

White pickets that fence in her door,

For the life of my life and more.

    I'd lean in the clover—

    The crisper

For the dews that are over—

    And whisper:

    "Your lips are as rare

    As the dewberries there,

    As ripe and as red,

    On the honey-dew fed" . . .

If I were her lover to whisper.

    If I were her lover,

    I'd wade through the clover

    Over the field before

    The pathway that leads to her door;

    And watch, in the twinkle

    Of stars that sprinkle

    The paradise over her door,

For the soul of my soul and more.

    And there in the clover

    I'd reach her;

    And over and over

    I'd teach her—

    A love without sighs,

    Of laughterful eyes,

    That reckoned each second

    The pause of a kiss,

    A kiss and . . . that is

If I were her lover to teach her.

    Positive Attitude at Workplace

Attitude is the way you look at things around you. A positive disposition towards experiences shapes you for the rest of your life. Success and happiness at workplace largely depends on your attitude. Needless to say what the results will be if you have a winning attitude.

Success or failure in business is caused more by the mental attitude even than by mental capacities.
    Sir Walter Scott

When you believe you can-you can!
    Maxwell Maltz

A strong positive attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug.
    Patricia Neal

Our paradigms, correct or incorrect, are the sources of our attitudes and behaviors, and ultimately our relationships with others.
    Stephen R. Covey

Your attitude is more important that your aptitude.
    Zig Ziglar

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.
    Kahlil Gibran

Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude toward it, for that determines our success or failure. The way you thing about a fact may defeat you before you ever do anything about it. You are overcome by the fact because you think you are.
    Norman Vincent Peale

Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character.
    Albert Einstein

Be conscious of your attitude. Work extra hard at keeping your attitude positive in all kinds of weather, through all the challenges of life.
    Catherine Pulsifer

Attitude is the way you mentally look at the world around you. It is how you view your environment and your future. It is the focus you develop toward life itself.

For success, attitude is equally as important as ability.
    Harry F. Banks

A positive attitude may not solve every problem but it makes solving any problem a more pleasant experience.
    Grant Fairley

You can complain because roses have thorns,
or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.
    Zig Ziglar

Things turn out best for the people who make
the best out of the way things turn out.
    Art Linkletter

Even though conditions such as lack of sleep, insufficient food and various mental stresses may suggest that the inmates were bound to react in certain ways, in the final analysis it becomes clear that the sort of person the prisoner became was the result of an inner decision, and not the result of camp influences alone. Fundamentally, therefore, any man can, even under such circumstances, decide what shall become of him — mentally and spiritually. He may retain his human dignity even in a concentration camp. Attitude and personality are as important as experienced and ability.Choose wisely.
    Brian Tracy

Attitude precedes service. Your positive mental attitude is the basis for the way you act and react to people. 'You become what you think about” is the foundation of your actions and reactions. What are your thoughts? Positive all the time? How are you guiding them?
    Jeffrey Gitomer

Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The
amount of work is the same.
    Francesca Reigler

Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.
    Tom Blandi

Often attitudes are kindled in the flame of others’ convictions.
    Louis E. Le Bar

The subtle difference in our attitude can make a major difference in our future. It can be as simple as the language we use.
    Jim Rohn

I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.
    Martha Washington

A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before the change.
    Earl Nightingale

Adventure isn't hanging on a rope off the side of a mountain. Adventure is an attitude that we must apply to the day to day obstacles of life – facing new challenges, seizing new opportunities, testing our resources against the unknown and in the process, discovering our own unique potential.
    John Amatt

Avoid negative sources, people, places, things and habits. Believe in yourself. Consider things from every angle. Don't give up and don't give in. Enjoy life today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow may never come. Family and friends are hidden treasures, seek them and enjoy their riches. Give more than you planned to.

Hang on to your dreams. Ignore those who try to discourage you. Just do it. Keep trying no matter how hard it seems, it will get easier. Love yourself first and most. Make it happen. Never lie, cheat or steal, always strike a fair deal. Open your eyes and see things as they really are. Practice makes perfect. Quitters never win and winners never quit. Read, study and learn about everything important in your life.

Stop procrastinating. Take control of your own destiny. Understand yourself in order to better understand others. Visualize it. Want it more than anything. ‘Excellerate’ your efforts. You are unique of all God's creations, nothing can replace YOU. Zero in on your target and go for it!

    Robert Schuller

There are two levers for moving men -- interest and fear.
    Napoleon Bonaparte

A boss creates fear, a leader confidence. A boss fixes blame, a leader corrects mistakes. A boss knows all, a leader asks questions. A boss makes work drudgery, a leader makes it interesting. A boss is interested in himself or herself, a leader is interested in the group.
    Russell Ewing

Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson

Why follow the steps of another to find out where our dreams will lead us.
    Peter Block

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Healing quotes to heal your self positively

Spiritual progress is like detoxification. Things have to come up in order to be released. Once we have asked to be healed, then our unhealed places are forced to the surface.
    Marianne Williamson

Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him.
    Matthew 5:25

Eventually you will come to understand that love heals everything, and love is all there is.
    Gary Zukav

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
    Matthew 5:43-44

So when you see someone who is sick and as a healer you want to assist them, the first thing that you want to understand is that they're already doing Step 1 [asking], because their sickness is causing them to ask in a more powerful than ever way. And even if the conscious-thinking human weren't saying "I'm sick I want to be well", the cells of his body are asking and the asking is already well underway, and flow is already going regarding this individual. Step 2 [Source answering] is already taking place: the asking and the answering have already taken place! So what you are as a healer, is a facilitator in helping them to relax and allow what they've already asked for, and allow Source's answering to occur.

When you surrender to the illness, you continue to receive your treatments, explore your feelings, repair your relationships and do all the other work of healing. But while you are working, you are saying, "Thy will be done" and not "My will be done." Surrender the pain, fear and worries and you'll be able to keep love, hope and joy in your life. As the Serenity Prayer tells us, leave it to God and rest.
Dr. Bernie Siegel, author of Love, Medicine and Miracles

    Crying Heals your self

Studies that chemically analyzed tears indicated that teardrops cleanse stress hormones, so we feel less fatigued after crying. Our sobs are an innate gift because tears assist the body in washing away toxins. Many recent studies have explored why men tend to die seven years earlier than women. Researchers noted that most men seldom cry. Even when they allow tears to well up in their eyes, they rarely shed these very precious, innate rejuvenators. It seems that we forgot to tell our little boys that the strongest trees -- those that tend to live the longest -- bend with the wind.
