Dont mess with money in relationships

Sometimes we tend to ignore the money in a relationship. It does play a major part and you must give adequate attention. Whether you dine out regularly or gift occasionally, keep an eye on who’s spending how much. Return the favours, although not necessarily at once. Take turns to pay while you date. This is also a way of earning respect for yourself. If partner is willing to go Dutch on outings, do it. It’s healthy for both partners to spend while the relationship is firming up.

Advantages of being a vegan

Vegetarian foods are generally low in fat and cholesterol and thus they have lower risk. But you need to have essential vitamins and minerals in a veg diet. Whole grains, nuts and vegetables have plenty of essential and non-essential amino acids. Breakfast cereals and fortified soy beverages are necessary for vitamin B-12. A source of vitamin D is critical too. For calcium greens must be eaten regularly. Dry beans and spinach have a fair amount of iron. Grains, legumes and nuts are a good source of zinc.

How to avoid misunderstandings

If there’s something that bothers you, it’s best to clear the misunderstanding with your love. Burying it in your heart and getting along erodes your confidence in the other and will result in a dangerous outburst sometime. It also results in scrutinising every small thing that the other says which is painful for both. If you don’t express things, it’ll confuse your partner. Get over it by talking and clearing the air. This will help bond better and help tide over bad times much much better.

How to stop droping out of exercise

We all struggle with exercising regularly. We start in right earnest and after a week, we drop out. The best way to do this is to find company. Team up with friends or neighbours to go jogging or hit the gym. This not only results in company to talk as we run or walk but more importantly if we don’t wake up in the morning, one of our exercise mates will ring the doorbell. Being in a group also means seeing the progress in the health of each one. This motivates the rest in the group. Besides you can pool up in cars or bikes.

Why you should listen to others

Ask what’s happening and you’ll find the other open up with so many things in life. Listen and encourage partner to speak about home, friends, work or anything that interests him or her. That’s a way of saying that you’re interested in the other person. It also keeps you in sync with partner’s joys and challenges and offers more insight into their dreams. Listening is also a good way of developing interest in other people rather than being self-centred all the time. Listening also adds a new communication skill.

The best way is to talk about the joy of the new child and also about the need for being more supportive to keep the relationship going well. Having an elder at home to help the mother can ease some time off her. Deciding to spend some time together every day is a great idea. Reading a book or sharing lighter moments by the bedside is energizing.

Laughter as therapy

Sounds silly to ask this. But if two partners in love don’t laugh together regularly, it’s a sign of a strained relationship, say psychologists. Whether you want to read out jokes from reader’s digest, watch Mr Bean or Pogo together, you decide what’s best. But a few moments to smile and laugh do wonders to intimacy. Share your foibles or incidents from office, roll on the floor or dance. But make him/ her laugh.

Have back pain? Correct your postures now.

While sitting use a chair that supports your lower back or you can keep a small pillow behind your lower back. Sit erect and stretch your legs a few times every hour. Have lice on your head? Shake off the embarrassment now

Do you scratch your head while at office or hanging out with friends. The best way we thought was to comb from scalp to the end of our hairs, right. Or let someone inspect our hair and remove the lice. But there’s a better way of doing it, comb your hair after a hair wash when the hair is still a little wet. This helps detect lice much better, says research. Of course, washing it regularly and treating it well keeps them away for sure.

What women don’t like in men?

Irresponsibility. That’s one thing they hate in men. Men usually don’t do things until they are pushed into it. Men always resist attempts to change they habits. They never accept or own up a mistake very easily. They will deny and say that nothing is wrong in the relationship. They are quick to duck at missiles fired at their lack of responsiveness. They love to dump responsibilities on the lady at the drop of a hat. Not taking up responsibilities expected of a man hurts a woman badly.

What do dreams mean

Dreams are nothing but your own thoughts, hopes and fears taking the form of symbols and imageries. They often tell you about underlying desires and even foretell the future. How to benefit from them? Don’t jolt out of sleep, wake up slowly and you may remember the dream better. Write them down, study patterns and you’ll find some meaning. If you want to achieve something, dream about it.

Why are men afraid of bold women?

Daring girls make men very vulnerable. Men always want a woman who they can take care of easily, not someone who they can’t manage. They like to keep relationships simple, not complicate them with someone who they think might hurt their ego. Men are soft on the inside and it takes a man of character to actually feel very comfortable with bold women. Men are intimidated by bold women who remind them of dominating men.

Because changes in temperature causes some to sneeze. Use nasal drops recommended by your doctor.

So get the new hairstyle, choose dresses that show the curves but not the skin, spray the mild perfume and walk confidently. If you see the right man, break into a half smile but turn away quickly to make sure he doesn’t think you’re easy to get. And be seen in the right gang of girls.

Tips for gifting to lover

Many of us can’t think beyond the wall clock as a gift. If only you could list down what our partner likes – fashion, collecting some things, home décor, table pieces, accessories, holidaying, books and the like, then you could identify a gift that the other person would love. Gifting is about giving something the other person loves, not about giving something which gives you pleasure. If you run out of ideas, then take the special person to a mall and ask him/ her to choose a gift. That’s not a bad idea.
