Motivational Buddha Quotes

If a man who enjoys a lesser happiness beholds a greater one, let him leave aside the lesser to gain the greater. Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. Meditate. Live purely. Be quiet. Do your work with mastery. Like the moon, come out from behind the clouds! Shine. All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him. Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule. I never see what has been done; I only see what remains to be done.
