Jesus called for servant leadership, which is not about having the inmates run the prison or pleasing everybody, but is about setting up a very clear vision and direction, with a mission statement, a set of values, and a picture of the future. Once the vision is set, the leader moves to the bottom of the hierarchy and becomes the cheerleader, supporter, encourager of people living according to the vision.
