Each one of us love someone more than the others we know. It’s human to do that. It’s not always easy to explain why we do that. There’s some connect between the two. An emotional bonding, you could say. A charming aspect in the other person, may be a similarity between the two, an infectious smile, an admirable character or even a trait that we desire in us may be seen in that person. And hence, we seem to love the person more than the others we know.
The Apple of our eyes may be our mother, a school buddy, an old flame or our valentine. Nevertheless, we must have one such friend, or our lives could turn empty. And, yes of course, we should also be the apple of someone else’s eyes.
