Easy Self Improvement Tips

Because everyone is different there is no one path in the journey toward self improvement. Each person must find their own way and in their own time. There will be set backs and pain along the way and at times, the temptation to surrender and go back to where we started will seem almost irresistible. I know this from personal experience. I have taken many dead-ends, been down winding paths that peter out, climbed up many steep summits only to come crashing down. My journey will never end but I know that every single step taken was worth the effort. There is no going back!
Robin O'Brien

Pretend that every single person you meet has a sign around
his or her neck that says. 'Make me feel important.' Not only
will you succeed in sales, you will succeed in life.
Mary Kay Ash

One of the best ways to get yourself motivated is to make use of pain and pleasure. How do we exactly do this? Easy, associate massive pain to not taking action and massive pleasure to taking action. So whenever you think of not taking action, for example not exercising - associate painful things like becoming fat, lacking energy, looking ugly, body getting weaker etc to it. Then associate pleasurable things like looking good, feeling energetic etc to exercising (taking action).
Ethan Beh

We’re only human. We have good intentions, but our willpower can fail us. Over time we wear down and need an extra push. Don’t let the fear of wasting money prevent you from investing in your goals. If you know you want something, invest in it financially and mentally. Give yourself a resource and a reason to push yourself. Don’t be afraid to make a mistake. One great investment can make up for scores mediocre ones. With hard work you’ll make back the money you spend, but you’ll never be able to get back lost time.

How Self Awareness Helps Us Improve Positively

It isn't what we know that gets us into trouble, it's what we think we know that isn't so! Everything that happens in our life is filtered through our awareness. We then act in accordance with our present level of awareness. If our awareness is faulty, our actions will be faulty. Every decision we make and every action we take is based on our level of awareness at any given moment. In order to be all we can be, we must constantly work to change and expand our level of awareness, or our perception of reality.
Anthony Robbins

And so, by progressive eliminations one succeeds in entering into contact with something, something which gives you the impression of being -- "Yes, that's 'myself'. And this something I can move around, I can move it from my body to my vital, to my mind, I can even, if I am very ... how to put it? ... very practised in moving it, I can move it into other people, and it's in this way that I can identify myself with things and people. I can with the help of my aspiration make it come out of my human form, rise above towards regions which are not longer this little body at all and what it contains.
The Mother

He who finds himself, loses his misery.
Matthew Arnold

To acquire knowledge, one must study;
but to acquire wisdom, one must observe.
Marilyn vos Savant

Being self aware is knowing
what you want in your life
your strengths and weaknesses
what motivates you and makes you happy
what you want to change about yourself or about your life
your achievements so far
how you relate to others
you need to improve as a person
your most important beliefs and values
how you see yourself as a person

How to Overcome Shyness for Positive Life?

Shyness, or social anxiety, is now recognized as the third most prevalent psychological disorder in the world, and the most misdiagnosed.

Shyness is a form of extreme consciousness about one's own thoughts, feelings and emotions. It swings from a timid social uncomfortability to a completely inhibiting social phobia.

Consequences of Shyness

Shy persons are extremely negative, tend to underestimate themselves, feel uncomfortable in a social setting, focus on themselves while interacting with confident people. They talk less, do not initiate conversations, turn fidgety, have low self-esteem and avoid gazing into the eyes of people. Shy people tend to underperform, achieve less and even marry late.
