A good sleep routine helps. Get to bed at about the same time every night. Exercise well at least once a day. It keeps you refreshed. Manage your alcohol, smoking and coffee habits. They can cause sleeplessness. Eat a good meal in the evening and be awake for two hours after that. Eat less fatty food and don’t drink too much water before you sleep. See to it that your bed is comfortable; room is well ventilated and not noisy, before you go to sleep.
