Sometimes we are hurt by small things that someone very dear to us says or does. This is especially so when you’re emotionally dependent on the person. It’s time to grow up and feel safe about handling things by yourself. Understand and battle with your problems and insecurities. Don’t make a call or rush to meet the other person every time you feel inadequate. Sit and find solutions. They may not be the best but they help you in becoming independent. Choosing to lower the frequency of talking and meeting can help you find inner strength. Seek the company and support of best friends to get over this. Confide in a family member who’ll support you.
